ACL or the Austin City Limits Music Festival is held at the 351-acre Zilker Park in Austin, Texas, every year. The festival that was introduced in 2002 has become one of the largest and most awaited festivals in Texas. This colorful and enthralling music festival is held on two consecutive days in October every year and has become an annual tradition for the last 15 years. ACL has been produced by C3 Presents, an Austin-based company that also produces Lollapalooza, a 4-day music festival that takes place in Chicago.

The Austin City Limits Venue

The ACL Music Festival venue contains 8 stages that feature more than 140 bands from various genres such as rock, electronic, pop, jazz, hip hop, country, indie and folk. The music festival is attended by almost 450,000 people, who come from all across the globe. ACL has seen some of the most iconic performances and bands such as Pearl Jam, Eminem, Radiohead, Drake, Mumford & Sons, Arcade Fire, Jack Johnson, Florence + the Machine and Kendrick Lamar to name a few.

Apart from the most incredible music, ACL boasts of some amazing food, beverages and desserts from around Austin and neighboring areas as well. The ACL venue also has an on-site brewery where you can sample some local Texas brews.

Art Market

The ACL venue has an eclectic art market that is a one-stop-destination for local hand-made goods from craftsmen who hail from in and around the local Austin area You will also find products from world-renowned and national artisans as you stroll through the market. You can buy cowboy boots, accessories, headgear, posters and many other interesting collectibles at the art market.

Activities for Kids

The ACL venue also has a kids’ zone – Austin Kiddie Limits –a festival within a festival, which features exciting fun-filled activities like karaoke and family bands.

ACL Cares

ACL Cares supports various causes and helps to improve lives and contributes to making a difference to the local community. More than $20 million has been contributed by the fans of the ACL Music Festival, which has gone towards the development of Zilker Park and other local parks across Austin, via ticket sales and other revenue.

The funds that have been collected have been utilized to save and plant more trees, install volleyball courts, play areas, ping pong tables, install trash cans, expand and develop trails, set up picnic benches and tables, renovate entire parks and thereby, the entire neighborhood.

ACL Tickets

While you can enjoy the ACL Music Festival by buying general tickets for one or both days of the festival, you can take your experience of the festival to a higher level with the VIP and Platinum Class tickets.
